Winter Camp for All is a 4 week learn to ski/snowboard camp, serving Milwaukee area youth ages 12-18. Winter Camp provides a safe and inclusive environment to learn to shred, with a focus on creating access for historically marginalized youth (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, girls, and gender-expansive). All are welcome! Check out our season wrap up from last year’s camp to get an idea of what to expect.
ORIENTATION
Tuesday, December 12th, 6-7 pm.

Orientation is optional, yet highly recommended. Come and meet your camp leaders, The Rock Snowpark staff, get a tour of the ski area and your camp questions answered.
If there is enough snow, tubing will be available at The Rock on orientation night! Tubing fees will apply. We will have outerwear available to borrow!

Program includes bus transportation, lift tickets, equipment rentals, a meal, and beginner lessons. Pricing is ‘pay what you can’, with options starting at $15.

Registration extended through 1/5. 24 campers will be admitted. There are only a few spots left!

1:00 - 1:30 pm: Participants arrive at 4 Seasons Skatepark. Check-In, Get fitted for soft gear(coats, snowpants, gloves, etc.)
1:45 pm: Bus leaves for The Rock.
2:15 pm - 3 pm: Bus arrives at The Rock. Get equipment rental, gear up, etc.
3: Lessons Begin
4:00: Lessons End
4:00 - 4:30 pm: Freeride w/ chaperones
4:30 - 5 pm Dinner break, or choose to freeride w/ chaperones
5 - 5:30 Freeride w/ chaperones
5:30 - 5:45 Return gear
6 pm: bus leaves The Rock
6:30 pm: Bus arrives at 4 seasons

We highly recommend dressing in warm, flexible clothing, with water-proof outerlayers. Standard snow gear includes wool socks, warm baselayers, snowpants, weather proof coat, weather proof gloves, neck gator, and goggles. Rental helmets are insulated so thin hats under them are optional. Baselayers don’t need to be fancy. Yoga pants, sweatpants, hoodies, etc. work just fine. Layers are also a good idea, so you can pare down if you get too warm.

Yes! We can provide water proof coats, snowpants, gloves, goggles, neck gators, and wool socks. Inquire about borrowing items via the registration form.

Lesson instruction is provided by instructors from The Rock Snowpark. Boardslide Mission chaperones accompanying youth on-snow are experienced snowsports athletes.
